Scar Tissue Release Therapy

Scar Tissue Release TherapySCARS..Who doesnt have one.

There can be more to them than just the appearance.

-Movement restrictions

-Physical pain

-Emotional pain

With every client I meet, I inquire about any scars they may have. Regardless of the scar's age or how it was acquired, it can impact a person's movement and feelings. Scars can arise from various causes, and most are unplanned.

I address the scar directly to aid in circulation, alleviate lymph congestion, numbness, burning, itching, enhance range of motion, flexibility, reduce pain, and hypersensitivity.

The body naturally forms scar tissue as a response to trauma when the skin is punctured or lacerated, whether by accident or intentionally, such as during surgery. The impact of post-surgical scars on the human body is significant, though often overlooked. Scars can create a dragging and pulling effect on the surrounding tissues, including joints, with symptoms that may persist for years and disrupt daily activities. Many people are unaware of the effects of scar tissue within the body and believe it cannot be altered. However, they are frequently surprised by the noticeable changes in the feel and appearance of the scar following treatment.

These are the scars that I frequently work on but not a complete list.

-Mastectomy scar

-Prostate scars

-Knee, hip, shoulder surgery

-Keyhole surgery

-Appendix scars

-C-sections

-Spinal surgery
